Grady, Garden City cross country teams are heading to State

- The Grady Lady Wildcats and Garden City Lady Bearkats punched their tickets to the State Cross Country Meet by finishing as top three teams in their respective regions.Grady finished 2nd at the Class A Region 1 meet held at Mae Simmons Park.

White-tailed Deer Population Looks Strong Ahead of Archery-Only Season

— Good news for hunters! Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) biologists anticipate an exceptional white-tailed deer season this fall. The 2024-25 archery-only season kicked off Sept. 28 and hunters have had good harvest numbers and quality bucks.

- The Concho Classic Marching Festival took place last weekend at San Angelo Stadium in San Angelo.The Stanton Buffaloes attended the event for their first marching contest of the season. With fantastic sound and minimal missed steps, the ‘Best Band Herd’ received a Division I rating.
