BIG SPRING - Ronald Victor Belew, 63 of Big Spring, passed away Feb. 19, 2026 in Graham.
Funeral service was Feb. 25, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment followed at Ackerly Cemetery.
Ron was born March 15, 1962, in Abilene, Texas. Ron graduated from Coahoma High School and attended college at Hardin-Simmons University. He loved fishing, hunting, the Texas Rangers and the Texas Longhorns, western movies, and enjoyed learning about history. Most of all he loved his grandchildren and loved to spoil them with gifts.
He is survived by his daughters, Haylea Dooley and husband, Chad of Sherman; Faith Forbus and husband, Sam of Graham; four grandchildren, Chaselynn and Dawson Dooley, Emma and Cooper Forbus; One sister, Leslea Robinson and husband, Lance of Ackerly, and nephew Sloan Robinson; and parent, Ronnie Hamilton and wife, Anne of Frisco; one brother Clint Hamilton; and Janis Cooper of Mt. Home, Arkansas and children.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Smith Belew, his father, William A. Belew; close aunt, Alice “aunt sissy” Howard; sister, Viki Ezell; and Uncle Harlan Cooper.
