LENORAH - Priscilla Garza, 76 of Lenorah, passed away May 30, 2026. Visitation and a prayer service were June 3, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on June 4, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial to follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
She was born on Sept. 17, 1949, in Taft. Priscilla married Florencio Garza, Jr. on Feb. 5, 1965, he preceded her in death in 2013. She enjoyed going shopping and finding good bargains as well as going to casinos in Hobbs and Las Vegas. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Joanna Garza (Orlando Sanchez) of Odessa, Jennifer Garza of Lenorah, Florencio “Len” Garza III (Shannon) of Lenorah, and Timothy Garza of Lenorah; brother Manuel Gutierrez (Janie) of San Antonio; sister Mary Rodriguez (John) of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents Matilda and Bernando Gutierrez; and two sisters Elena Samora and Julie Romero.
