STANTON - Jose Cazares, 88 of Stanton, passed away June 26, 2026. He was born Sept. 18, 1937 to the late Victoriana and Andres Cazares in Edcouch.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Delia Cazares, and sons Andres Cazares and Jose Luis Sr.
Survivors include his daughters Micaela Rodriguez, Paula Villa and Guadalupe Cazares; sons Ruben Cazares, Raymond Cazares and Martin Rodriguez Jr.; sister Juanita Alaniz; brother Juan Cazares Sr.; 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Visitation and rosary were July 1, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home in Stanton. Funeral Mass will be July 2, at 10am at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include Steven Rodriguez Jr., Adrian Rodriguez, Joseph Rodriguez, Andrew Saldana, Miguel Juarez, and Mark Gonzales.
