STANTON - Beverly Dawn Parker, 50, of Burleson died Nov. 14, 2023. She was born on July 4, 1973, in Big Spring. She graduated from Stanton High School in 1991. She was a member of the Flag Team an played the flute in the Buffalo Band. After graduation, she attended Midland College. She was very creative and developed a dog shampoo that would help dogs with dry an scaly skin. She was very smart with her ideas, one of which was writing a children’s book and drawing the accompanying pictures.
She loved animals. Her dogs were a major focus and she entered them in contests, winning multiple champion medals. She loved practicing Yoga with a goal to be an instructor.
She was concerned with people having the medical condition she had and chose to participate in research. She cataloged her journey with specific dates, times, and results of her treatments.
She is survived by her husband Robbie Parker of Burleson; mother Brenda Burnett of Midland; mother-in-law Shirley Parker of Lubbock; brothers Brandon Burnett (Kim) and Earl Burnett, Jr. (Pat); niece Brittany Steen; nephews David Blake (Shealeen), Alexander Bourland, Zachary Burnett, and Ryder Burnett; cousins Tanya Yoakley (John) and Maxie Maggio, Aunt Sharon Maggio of Great Cacapon, West Virginia, and Uncle Ricky Patterson of Portland, Texas as well as multiple cousins. Her special and best friends were Carol and Johnny Maldanado of Midland.
She was preceeded in death by her father Earl Burnett, one sister Cherry Burnett, grandparents Roy and Maxie Patterson, and father-in-law Robert Parker.
