Peggy Pal Yates Latty

FLOMATON - Mrs. Peggy Pal Yates Latty, better known as ' Nannie', to her family and friends, died Dec. 08, 2023 at 89. Mrs. Latty was a native of Stanton, and a longtime resident of the Flomaton area. She was a homemaker, and actively involved in the local area rescue. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Little Escambia Baptist Church in Flomaton.

Mrs. Latty is survived by son Bill Harris of Flomaton; grandchildren, Lynn Spooner, Christy Harris, Kelly Clark, Sean Searls, and Kevin Searls; great grandchildren, Ian Spooner, Isabeau Vieyra, Gage Searls, Alexis Clark, Tallen Clark, Mc Kenna Clark, Scarlotte Clark, Oscar Searls, and Arlo Searls; great-great grandchild, Asher Vieyra.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Pal Yates and Sudie Hancock; husband of 60 years Billy Joe Latty; daughters Joni Harris, Glynith Byrd, Vicki Latty, and Marsha Latty; son Billy Latty; sisters Stella Bob, and Hazel Laudermilk; brothers Sammy Yates and Marshall Yates Visitation will be Friday morning Dec. 15, from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will follow at 11 A.M. from the chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home with Brother Jonathon Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Little Escambia Baptist Church Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home Directing.

Pallbearers were Kevin Searls, Kevin Jordan, Kevin Bishop, Matt Clark, Tallen Clark. Honorary Pallbearers were Sean Searls, Donald Jordan and Mitch Norman.
