STANTON - Trudy Diane Harrison, 77 of Stanton, died May 17, 2024. She was born July 26, 1946 in Big Spring, to the late Jessie and Marshall Yates. She was married to the love of her life Lou Gary Harrison on Sept. 24, 1965 and since then they have been inseparable.
She was a skilled cosmetologist, who never left the house without her hair and makeup being perfection. She was also a crafter who made the most intricate personalized Christmas stockings for everyone in the family. She was active in all of her childrens endeavors as well; being a 4-H and Girl Scout mother.
Survivors include her loving husband Lou Gary Harrison; daughter Rebecca Ann Joiner and husband Leland Joiner; son Marshall Arlan 'Rowdy' Harrison; grandchildren Logan Joiner, Garrett Joiner, Jessie Koen and husband Dylan, Katie Brown and husband Luke, Matt Harrison and wife Nicole, Molly Harrison, and Melanie Harrison; greatgrandchildren Elenor Koen, Levi Harrison, and Holland Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Marshall Yates, her brothers Dan and Don Yates as well as her daughter in law Angie Harrison.
A funeral service was May 22, at Renew Life Church in Midland with Marshall Harrison as officiant. Interment immediately followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton.
The family is establishing a scholarship to be given in her memory at the Andrews County Livestock Show in January 2025.
