STANTON - Angelita Helen Valdez, age 75 of Stanton, went to be with the Lord Jan. 18, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born Aug. 29, 1949 in Poth, to the late Inez Chapa Castillo and Ignacio Castillo. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband "Junior" Arnulfo Valdez of Stanton; daughter Delia Hinojosa of Stanton; sisters Carmen Baeza of Midland, Juana Perez of Illinois, Lupe Benevides of Midland; brothers Ramon Castillo of Indiana, Ramiro Castillo of Midland, Avelardo Castillo of Midland; four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A visitation will be held Jan. 23, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home, 408 N St. Peter Stanton, TX 79782 from 11am to 8pm with a rosary being recited at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held Jan. 24, at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 405 N Convent St. Stanton, beginning at 11am. Pallbearers will be Timothy Hinojosa, Arnie Hinojosa, Isaiah Hinojosa, Aiden Hinojosa, Ernesto Gonzalez, Timothy Hinojosa Jr., Scott Hinojosa, Easton Hinojosa, and Auden Hinojosa.
