STANTON - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mickey Lander on Jan. 19, 2025, in Stanton. Memorial services will be held at Stanton Baptist Church with Pastor David Harp on Jan. 27, at 11am.
Mickey Lander was born on Feb. 25, 1942, in Big Spring, then later married Herman (JR) Lander on December 31, 1964, in Big Spring.
She was a dedicated dental assistant for Randy Moore in Stanton for over 30 years. She was a fan of all things Elvis and enjoyed traveling the world, especially with the ones she loved.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Shandal and Santa Lander; daughter Kresi JaNa Pylant; brother-in-law Ronnie Deatherage; sister-in-law Faye Wagner; grandchildren Zackery Pylant, Gentry and wife Perla Pylant, Landery Roe, Ashley and husband David Ferron, Nicholas Teel, Amber and husband Sam Howland, April Lander, Rebecca Olivares, Isidoro Olivares, Rosalie Magallanes, Crystal and husband Anthony Biggs, and Manuel Magallanes; great grandkids Kanyon and Koda Pylant, Grace, Preston, and Evie Pylant, Morgan and Madi Novak, Kynsie Ferron, Caiden Simpson, Chloe and Carson Howland, Desiree and husband Adrian Boyett, Destiny Khongraj, Kaliya and Max Galvan, Nadiana and David Olivares, Natalie, Nathan and Adrian Magallanes, Tristin Young, and Harper Biggs; great great grandkids Walker and Conner Boyett; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Mickey was welcomed to heaven by husband Herman (JR) Lander; parents Henry and Dovie Pinkerton; brothers Charlie and Kay Pinkerton; sister Billie Jean Lightner; and sister-inlaw, Josie.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland.
