STANTON - Michael Ray Scurlark, age 57, of Stanton, went to his Heavenly Home on June 23, 2025. He was born May 24, 1968, to the late Warren C. Scurlark and Eddie B. Jackson Scurlark in Stanton.
He was a graduate of Stanton High School and served his country in the United States Army.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents Warren and Eddie Scurlark; sisters Clytia Miles and Ella Scurlark; brothers Jessie Scurlark, Willie Scurlark, Roy Scurlark, and Lawrence Scurlark.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Breanna Scurlark; sons Trevor Scurlark and Austin Scurlark; sisters Ola Scurlark, Diane Scurlark, Caroline Scurlark, Catherine Scurlark, Helen McCoy (Anthony), and Melissa Scurlark; brothers Warren Scurlark and Steve Scurlark, and eleven grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.
The family received friends June 2, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place June 3, at 11 a.m. at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with interment immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Josh Traylor, Anthony McCoy, Jr., Courtney Scurlark, Donovan Polk, Aaron Scurlark and Avery Johnson. The honorary pallbearers will be Telvin Scurlark and Greg Scurlark.
