BIG SPRING - Cheri L. Haechten, 36 of Big Spring, passed away Oct. 6, 2025. Viewing will be Oct. 10 from 10 am until 9 pm, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm. Celebration of Life Service will be at 10 am, Oct. 11, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Kendall Tomlinson, officiating. Cheri was born Oct. 8, 1988 in Midland, to parents Dennis Ringener and Edna McKenzie Ringener. She had been a resident of Big Spring for many years. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing games, spending time with family, fishing and boating. She especially loved butterflies.
Cheri is survived by her husband Albert of 14 years; her children MacKenzie, Alexander and Andrew; seven grandchildren; mother Edna Ringener; mother-in-law Sharon (King) Thomas; sister Colby Mathis (Jimmy); niece Ryleigh Mathis; nephew Colton Mathis; brother Cody Ringener (Carla); and numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Dennis Ringener, father-in-law Albert Haetchen, her uncles Herbert Armstrong and Dale McKenzie, sister-in-law Shirley Agnes, Edna Ruth McKenzie, Calvin Earl McKenzie and Lynell Ringener.
