BIG SPRING - Amador Garcia Rios, Sr., 66 of Big Spring passed away Dec. 13, 2025.
Funeral service was Dec. 17 at Myers & Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
He was born Nov. 25, 1959, in Lubbock, to parents Alejandro Rios and Augustina Garcia. Amador worked at Basic Energy until retiring as a truck driver.
He loved softball and coached the Cobras for 17 years. Enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in sports and activities. He liked dancing and was always the life of the party. Amador truly had a heart of gold and cared for everyone he knew.
He is survived by his children: Jessica Dunn (Brodie), Amador Rios, Jr., Cynthia Rodriguez, Kimberly Rios (Crystal), Isaac Nathan Rios, Sr., all of Big Spring; brothers, Alex Rios (Sylvia) & Arthur Rios; sister, Alicia Guzman; 21 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents, Alejandro & Augustina Rios; granddaughter, Artesia Rios; brothers, Armando Rios & Abel Rios; and sister, Aida Rios.
