Junior high Wildcats go undefeated

GRADY – The junior high Wildcats finished up their season with wins over Wellman-Union on Monday in Grady. The Grady ‘A’ team was a close battle through the first three quarters with Grady holding a slim 33-32 lead.
Every eye in the gym was trained on Garden City’s Karly Baker as she floated a shot for two of her game high 13 points. The Lady Kats rallied to beat Bronte on Tuesday night and advance to the playoffs to battle Eden for bi-district on Monday.

Junior High Lady Cats pick up a bunch of wins

GRADY- The Grady Junior High girls teams wrapped up their season on Monday when they hosted Wellman. The Grady Gold team jumped out to an early 8-0 lead in the first quarter and took an 18-6 lead into half time. They would add to that lead in the second half pulling away with a 30-10 victory.

GARDEN CITY– It was a great night in Garden City with both the Bearkats and Lady Kats getting district wins over Bronte. The Lady Kats kept the fans on the edge of their seats until the final second ticked off the clock.

GRADY– Grady ISD anxiously awaited the announcement of the 202426 district realignments, expected some big changes to football and excited to see where they were place for the first volleyball district. Grady is a Class 1A Division I school with an enrollment between 61.5 and 104.9.

GARDEN CITY– With the announcement of the 202426 district realignments, some big changes will be coming to Garden City football while basketball is more of the same. Garden City is a Class 1A Division I school with an enrollment between 61.5 and 104.9.

Junior varsity Buffs win streak comes to an end

STANTON –The Stanton junior varsity basketball team has been tearing up the district but its win streak came to an end on Tuesday in Presidio. During the Buffs impressive run they dominated Crane 55-9.

Stanton wins two, drops two district games

STANTON – The Stanton Buffaloes split their four recent district games beating Crane and Tornillo and losing to Kermit and Presidio. Stanton started the run with a strong showing at Crane going up 25-20 after the first half.

Grady remains at top of district standings

KLONDIKE – Grady finds itself at the top of the District 4-1A standings with a pair of wins this week. The road game with Klondike last Friday was much closer than the final score showed. Grady used a big first quarter to go up 15-10 and increased their cushion to 2518 after halftime.

Junior High Lady Cats pick up a bunch of wins

ACKERLY – Grady’s Junior High girls Gold team played in the Sands Junior High Tournament last weekend. The Gold team went 2-1 in the tournament with wins over Lorenzo and O’Donnell. Both junior high teams were back in action this week with games against Loop, O’Donnell, and Sands.
