John Michael Vasquez, Jr. STANTON - John Michael Vasquez Jr, 17, of Stanton, died on Jan. 22, 2023. He was born Jan. 31, 2005, in Midland, to L’E Carrasco and John Michael Vasquez Sr. He was a senior at Stanton High School. He liked to play basketball and play games.

STANTON - Mary Beth “Nan” Ingram, 88, died Jan. 20, 2023. She was born on July 11, 1934 in Westbrook, to John Wesley Schafer and Mary Thelma Schafer. She grew up in the oilfields of West Texas, including McCamey and Otis Chalk.

Delbert Ray Thompson

MONAHANS - Delbert Ray Thompson died Jan. 7, 2023 in Monahans. He was born on Feb. 21, 1958 in Kermit, to Sammy Lee Thompson and Jimmie Francis Washington Lane. He lived his early years in Kermit until moving to Hamlin, where was a standout athlete. He graduated from Hamlin High School in 1977.

Terrel Pinkston

AMARILLO - Mr. Terrel Pinkston died peacefully surrounded by his family on Dec. 30, 2022, in Amarillo. He was born on Dec. 14, 1933, in Lenorah, to John and Gertie Angel Pinkston and a nine year old sister Marcelle who welcomed him into this world.

STANTON - Guadalupe Salgado Gonzalez died Jan. 8, 2023. She was born in Stanton, on July 13, 1955, to Andres Salgado and Juana Navarrette. She cherished her grandchildren and loved to play bingo. Visitation was Jan. 10 and Rosary was Jan. 11, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Margie Faye Walker

GEORGETOWN Margie Faye Walker, 95 of Georgetown, formerly of Winters, died Jan. 7, 2023. She was born March 5, 1927, in Big Spring, where she grew up, to Virgil and Zora Fannin. She graduated high school from Garden City. She married C.D. Walker on Nov. 19, 1949, in Hobbs, New Mexico.
