ATHENS - Terry David McAnally, 73, died Oct. 25, 2020 at his home in Athens. He was born on June 28, 1947, to Claud and Billie (Winslett) McAnally in Pecos. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters Teresa McAnally and Angel Pierce and sister Toby Ward.

ODESSA - Susie Madrid, age 76 of Odessa, died Nov. 4, 2020. She was born in Fort Davis, Mar. 8, 1944, to the late Blas and Francisca (Hartnett) Rodriguez. She worked as a dietician for ECISD.

Melba Rich

BIG SPRING - Melba Rich, 85 of Big Spring died Nov. 3, 2020. Graveside services were Nov. 6 at Evergreen Chapel in Stanton. She was born April 27, 1935, in Roff, OK and married J. C. Rich on Dec. 16, 1948, in Colorado City. He preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 2011.

Clara Marie (Shoemaker) Clements & Eugene Fields Clements

STANTON - Clara Marie (Shoemaker) Clements, 92, Nov 4, 2020, and after a few short hours her soulmate, Eugene Fields Clements, 93, died Nov. 5, 2020, as they joined each other to spend eternity in Heaven. Graveside services were Nov.

WICHITA FALLS - Tommy Darden "Tom" Shanks, 74, died on Oct. 27, 2020. He was born June 6, 1946, in Stanton, to John and Mae Shanks. Growing up in Stanton, he helped on the family cotton farm and worked in his parents' store, The Stanton Hatchery.

BIG SPRING - Cynthia Martinez, 30, died Oct. 18, 2020 in Big Spring. Visitation was Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. till 8 p.m., a rosary was recited at 7 p.m. at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be October 22, at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in Big Spring.

Donald Wayne Shortes

ACKERLY - Donald Wayne Shortes of Ackerly died peacefully at his home on, Oct. 11, 2020. He was born Dec. 14, 1939, in Graham, to Vernon and Gladys Lovern Shortes. The family moved to the Ackerly Community when he was two years old where he lived there for 78 years.

HOUSTON - Linda Bess Bryan Angel, 81 of Houston, died Oct. 6, 2020 at her home after a brief illness. After graduating from Stanton High School in 1956, she married Thomas Edward Angel and attended the Rutherford School of Business in Midland.
