John G. Haynie

BIG SPRINGS - John G. Haynie was born June 2, 1967, in Big Springs, and grew up on the farm in Lomax. He went to school in Stanton and lived his entire life on the farm. He died on May 12, 2020, after a battle with cancer at the age of 52.

Gonzalo Reyna

STANTON - Gonzalo Reyna 87, was born May 18, 1932, in Sierra Mojada, Chihuahua, Mexico and died May 7, 2020 in Stanton, surrounded by his loving family. He married Isidra in September 1950 and had nine children. A private visitation was May 8 at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home.

Juliana Flores

STANTON - Juliana Flores died May 12, 2020. She was born Apr. 6, 1932 in Sierra Blanca, to the late Basilia Marquez Flores and Victor Flores. Funeral service was May 13 at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be May 14 at 11 a.m. in Sierra Blanca at Sierra Blanca Cemetery.

BIG SPRING - Tim Crawford, 38 of Big Spring, died May 3, 2020. Funeral service was May 8 at Myers & Smith Chapel with Lloyd Wells, pastor of Spring Creek Fellowship, officiating. Burial was at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. He was born June 28, 1981, in Big Spring.

STANTON - Lucinda Gutierrez Almager, died May 3, 2020. She was born Dec. 19, 1956, to the late Timoteo and Elida Almager in Goliad. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Italive Almager Silva; son, Christopher Almager Que; one sister and one brother.

STANTON - Perfecta “Rosa” Nevarez died Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. She was born in Santo Nino de Arriba, Coahuila, Mexico on Mar. 31 1935. She married the love of her life, Jesus Nevarez on Dec. 17, 1960. They moved to Stanton in 1961 where she spent the remainder of her life.
