BRYAN - Several Stanton and Garden City athletes competed with the Midland Cheetahs Track Club at the 2026 TAAF Games of Texas State Track Meet in Bryan.The meet was held July 30 through Aug. 2. Athletes ages 5 to 18 competed in events against others in their age groups from across Texas.

STANTON – Martin County Hospital District has officially begun construction on a major expansion of its Emergency Department, marking another significant investment in the future of healthcare for Martin County and the surrounding communities.
Cash Jennings, his wife, Lindsey, and their four children have made Grady home since Jennings joined the district as assistant superintendent last year. Jennings officially became superintendent in March.
