Grant money continues to roll in for new food bank building

STANTON - Kim Juarez, the Director of Stanton’s Food Bank is happy to report more grants for the new building. As of this date, a total of more than $600,000 in grants have been acquired through the efforts of Kim Juarez and local grant writer Carla Ingram.

Cotton futures ended the year with a bang, gaining 192 points from last Thursday’s close to settle at 78.12 cents per pound today. In fact, the high for the last day of 2020 is the highest price to print since April of 2019, about 20 months ago.
