- Grady ISD is making progress on the school projects approved by voters in November 2024.The three bond measures totaled $22 million. They included projects for school facilities, water, safety, athletics, parking and teacher housing.Some of those projects are now finished.
Two of Grady ISD’s new teacher houses are set in place this spring. Voters approved three new homes as part of the district’s 2024 bond package, bringing the district’s total to 18 teacher houses. The homes are rented to staff at a low cost and serve as an important tool for recruiting and keeping teachers. The housing project is now complete, while several other projects included in the 2024 bond are nearing completion.
