STANTON - Thomas Risher Newman, 82 of Stanton, Feb. 29, 2024. Services were Mar. 6, at First Baptist Church Big Spring. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. He was born on Dec. 16, 1941, in Big Spring to Thomas and Kawana Newman. He went to grade school in Lomax and graduated high school in Stanton, where he played football and ran track. He was active in 4-H, showing lambs and received the Gold Star Award for his record book.

LUBBOCK - Vincent Saenz Villa, 32, died Feb. 29, 2024, in Lubbock.

STANTON - David L. Stevenson, age 59, of Stanton, died Feb. 24, 2024. He was born Nov. 26, 1964, to the late Wallace Oliver Stevenson and Marilyn Griffin Stevenson in Midland. He was an Army Veteran and a mechanic by trade. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and working on diesel trucks. He is survived by his wife Donna Stevenson of Stanton; sons Brian Stevenson, Brent Stevenson, Shawn Cox, Shane Stevenson, and Caleb Stevenson; daughters Kara Shanks and Danielle Sanders as well as 23 grandchildren.

CHILDRESS - Gerry Dell Fuquay Anderson, 86, died peacefully on Feb. 21, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

GARDEN CITY - We tried to give you the world, but God gave you heaven instead. Hutton Thomas Walker of Garden City, was born June 27, 2020, in San Angelo, to Blaine and Brittney Walker. He was called home to heaven on Feb. 15, 2024. We were blessed to have three and a half action packed years to love and cherish our sweet Hutton.

STANTON - Juan R. Rios, 72 of Stanton, died Jan.

FORT WORTH - Cleta Belle Pike died on Feb. 9, 2024.

Helen Zant Adcock died peacefully on Jan. 24, 2024, surrounded by family and loved ones.

MIDLAND - Larry Don Brookshire, 81 of Midland, died on Feb. 3, 2024.

STANTON - Timothy Ray Lucio, 38, died Jan. 24, 2024, in Stanton. Visitation and Rosary were Jan. 29, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was Jan. 30, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
