MIDLAND - Woody Joe Jackson, 76 of Midland, passed away Jan. 12, 2025. A Celebration of Life service will be Jan. 24, at the Horseshoe Arena at 2pm.Woody was born on Nov. 25, 1948, in Altus, OK to James and Viola Jackson. He grew up inAltus and graduated from Altus HS in 1967.

MIDLAND - Dorothy Crawford, 103, of Midland passed away Jan. 12, 2025.Dorothy was born Aug. 17, 1921 to Dophus and Teagie Branch in Mt. Pleasant. The family moved to Midland County when she was four years old.Dorothy and J. D. Crawford were married Aug. 6, 1949.

MIDLAND - Frances Eugenia Tate (Carr) 95 of Midland, passed peacefully on Dec. 18, 2024. Frances was born Aug. 17, 1929 in Desdemona, to Marvin and Alta Carr. The Carr family moved to Sherwood, where Marvin was born, in 1933.
