MIDLAND - Owen Keith Leoffler was born at Midland Memorial Hospital to Craig and Megan Leoffler on June 12, 2024, at 12:23 pm. He brought joy and love into the world and into thehearts of his family from the moment he arrived. Owen died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday morning, June 19, 2024.

STANTON - Raquel Castro Polson, 51 of Stanton, died suddenly on June 22, 2024. A Rosary will be at 7 p.m. on July 2 at Saint Ann's Catholic Church in Midland. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on July 3 at Saint Ann's.Raquel was born on Aug. 12, 1972 in Fort Worth, to Helen Floyd and John Castro.

Samuel Dominguez Cordova

AUSTIN- Samuel (Sam) Dominguez Cordova, 82 of Austin, died June 11, 2024. He fought a good fight but eventually lost a long battle from organ failure. The middle child of three sons born to Merced and Nicholasa Cordova, Sam was born on Jan. 20, 1942, in Alpine.

EUGENE, OR - Wilma Reinhardt Minton, 95 of Eugene, Oreogn, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024.Wilma was born on September 2, 1928 in Mitchell County, TX to Ephraim and Minnie Faye (Williams) Reinhardt She married James Bowie Minton in Stanton, TX. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1984.

BAIRD - Barbara Marie (Burton) Russell, 75 of Baird, died May 21, 2024. She was born on Mar. 11, 1949. She grew up near Big Spring, on her Fryar grandparents’ farm. She moved to Florida in her teens, where she met and married her husband Edward Russell in June of 1967.
