STANTON - Juan R. Rios, 72 of Stanton, died Jan. 29, 2024, at his home. He was born Sept. 24, 1951, to the late Pascuala Rosales Garcia and Alfonso Garcia in Ackerly. He leaves to cherish his memory a cousin Inez Santos of Stanton, and other extended family. Rosary was Feb.

FORT WORTH - Cleta Belle Pike died on Feb. 9, 2024. She was 81 years old. She was born on Sept. 4, 1942, in Cisco. She lived most of her life in West Texas and raised a family in Garden City.

Helen Zant Adcock

Helen Zant Adcock died peacefully on Jan. 24, 2024, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was 86 years old. She was born in Midland, on Apr. 20, 1937, to John Bradford Zant and Annie Lee Brunson Zant. She had fond memories of growing up when Midland was still a small town.

STANTON - Timothy Ray Lucio, 38, died Jan. 24, 2024, in Stanton. Visitation and Rosary were Jan. 29, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was Jan. 30, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

LUBBOCK - Diane Villa, 39, died Jan. 17, 2024 in Lubbock. She was born Oct. 29, 1984, in Stanton, to the late Jose and Rosa Villa. Visitation and Rosary were Jan. 23, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was Jan. 24 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Lauriano F. Maldonado

Lauriano F. Maldonado Jr, 74, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Jan. 19, 2024. He was born July 10, 1949, in Pearsall, to the late Lauriano and Guadalupe Maldonado Sr. He enjoyed visiting with family, listening to good music, and joking around all the time.
