Frankie Ruth McAlpin

SPUR - Frankie Ruth McAlpin, 74, of Spur, died peacefully on Aug.21, 2020. She was born to Calvin Frank and Johnnie Ruth (Brown) Walker on Nov. 14, 1945, in Santa Anna. She worked several professions in her lifetime, retiring as a dispatcher for South Plains Electric Coop in 2012.

Ronald Shaw

SMYER - Ronald Shaw, 78, died Aug. 30, 2020. The youngest of 12 children, Ronald, was born to Willie Summerfield Shaw and Anna Angeline Peterson Shaw on Apr. 26, 1942, and was raised in a loving Christian home in Knott.

Nelda Ann Shaw Tobias

BROWNWOOD - Nelda Ann Shaw Tobias, 89, of Brownwood formerly of Knott, Arlington and Andrews, died Aug. 23 surrounded by her loved ones. The family received friends Aug. 27, and funeral services were Aug. 28, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home and Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring.

STANTON - Rodrigo Robles died Aug. 19, 2020. Graveside service were Aug. 21, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his mother, Juana Robles Gavain; father, Feliz Robles Avalos and his sisters, Luz Robles, and Seferina Herrera Robles.

Glen Grigg

BURLINGTON - Glen Grigg, 64 of Burlington, died Aug. 18, 2020, at his home. He was born in Lamesa, and then lived most of his life in Ackerly, before his recent move to Burlington. During his lifetime he was an Emergency Medical Technician and a funeral director.

Jerry Shirlene Harrison

LUBBOCK - Jerry Shirlene Harrison, 80, died Aug. 23, 2020 in Lubbock. Graveside services will be Aug. 27, at 2p.m., at Lakeview Cemetery in Floyd County. Arrangements are under Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada. She was born in Snyder, to Frank and Velma Floyd on November 10, 1939.

STANTON - Maria Inez Casillas, 57 of Stanton, died Aug. 7, 2020, in a Midland hospital. Graveside funeral services will be 10 am, Aug. 13, at the Evergreen Cemetery Chapel. She was born Dec. 27, 1962, in Tlahualilo, Durango, Mexico and married Cosme Casillas May 17, 1980 in Mexico.
