Grady Wildcats run wild at Big Spring Invitational

BIG SPRING - The Grady Cross Country teams traveled to Big Spring this past week to compete in the Big Spring Invitational The Varsity Girls finished3rd overall as a team behind Compass Academy and Lubbock Roosevelt.

GRADY – The Grady Wildcats added another victory to the win column with a 44-14 performance against the Lubbock Titans last Thursday at M.W. Tunnell Field in Grady.Lubbock was the first team to find the endzone and take an 8-0 lead.

– The Grady Wildcats got back on the winning track and steamrolled their way to a 60-8 mercyrule victory over Fort Davis at M.W. Tunnell Field on Friday night in Grady.

Lady Wildcats win fall golf tournament

- The Grady Girls and Boys Fall Golf teams competed at the Garden City Fall Golf Tournament at Ranchland Country Club in Midland on Sept. 24.The Grady Lady Wildcats had a great day finishing first in the team standings. Audrey Marler placed 1st as an individual with a gold medal round of 77 strokes.

- The Garden City Girls and Boys Fall Golf teams hosted the Garden City Fall Golf Tournament at Ranchland Country Club in Midland on Sept. 24.Competing for the Garden City Lady Bearkats were Helen Marshall, Grace Raney, Joslyn Halfmann, and Landry Dieringer.

– The Garden City football team struggled to hold onto the ball last Friday and lost to Irion County 44-38 at Bearkat Stadium for its second straight non-district loss.
