MIDLAND - Lonnie Joe Short, 74 of Midland, died Apr. 30, 2022, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland. He was born Aug. 11, 1947, to Newton and Velma Mae Short in Sterling, Kansas. He graduated from Garden City High School in 1966. He married Linda Carole (Wiles) on June 10, 1977, in Midland.

Ermelinda Villa passed away April 22, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas, she was born August 19, 1965 in Big Spring, Texas to Domingo Villa and Rafaela Rosa. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved the Miami Dolphins, working out, dancing and listening to music.

Royce Boyce

LORAINE - Royce Boyce was born Sept. 28, 1942 in Loraine, to Steve and Helen Boyce. He died peacefully at home on Apr. 8, 2022. He grew up in the cotton and oil fields of West Texas. He retired as Operations Manager of BTA Oil Producer’s after 39 1/2 years. He loved horseracing and fishing.
