STANTON - Joe Bryand was born on July 29, 1957, in Big Spring, to Pablo and Silveria Bryand. He was known by everyone as "The Concrete Guy". He taught his children and nephews almost everything there is to know about concrete.

STANTON - Jacob Wiebe, 58, died Sept. 19, 2021. A viewing was Sept. 21 and 22, at Rienlander Church in Grady. Funeral services will be Sept. 23, at 1 p.m. at the Reinlander Church. Burial will follow at Reinlander Cemetery.

BIG SPRING - Maria T. Rodriguez, 59, died Sept. 20, 2021, in Big Spring. She was born Aug.10, 1962, to the late Pedro and Alejandra Rodrigues in Big Spring. She is survived by her sisters Toni Rodriguez and Guadalupe Rodriguez and a brother Daniel Rodriguez.

Shirley Dossey Covington

LUBBOCK - Graveside service for Shirley Dossey Covington, 84, of Lubbock formerly of Lamesa were Sept. 18, Dawson County Cemetery with Pastor Tom Heath. Arrangements were under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. She died Sept. 14, 2021, in Lubbock.

Hope Perry Sanderson

ACKERLY - Hope Perry Sanderson was born to Heaven on Aug. 31, 2021 to parents David and Alice Sanderson of Ackerly. She weighed 9 oz, was 10 inches long, and was 24 weeks gestation. She was a delight to her family every moment of her life.

STANTON - Wayne DeLaO, 54, died Spet. 1, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. A viewing and rosary were Sept. 5, at the Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass was Sept. 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
