James Kenneth Snodgrass

STANTON - James Kenneth Snodgrass was born to Olen Lee “Weevil” Snodgrass Sr. and Gladys Irene Gibson Snodgrass on Feb. 12, 1931. He joined an older brother, Olen Lee Snodgrass Jr. and sister, Doris Marie Snodgrass. They lived in the Courtney community, northwest of Stanton.

Robert Alvarez Morales

LAMESA - Funeral services for Robert Alvarez Morales, 70 of Lamesa, were Jan. 14, at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating were the Rev. Leandro Gonzales and Louis Gonzales. Burial followed at the Dawson County Cemetery.

Victor Delgado, Jr.

ALABAMA - Victor Delgado, Jr., 45, died Jan. 23, 2021, at Cullman County Regional, Alabama. He was born June 17, 1975 in Big Lake, to Victor and Elena Delgado. He was a 1994 graduate of Stanton High School.

BIG SPRING - Iris Elizabeth “Beth” Peters, 65 of Big Spring, died Jan. 16, 2021, in Lubbock, surrounded by her loved ones. A viewing was Jan. 19, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Big Spring and funeral services were Jan. 20 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring.

Florence Bodine

STERLING CITY - Florence "Flo" Bodine, 98, died at the Sterling County Nursing Home on Jan. 1, 2021. She was born on July 20, 1922 in Bell County, to Dr. Edward C. and Helen Schnieder Stoeltje.

Favian Rios Hinojosa

STANTON - Favian Rios Hinojosa, 42, died Dec. 27, 2020. Visitation and a rosary were Dec. 30, at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass was Dec.31, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stanton. Interment followed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.

Darryl Sisson

STANTON - Darryl Sisson, 87 of Stanton, died Dec. 25, 2020 in Big Spring. Services will be held at a later date due to COVID. He was born Nov. 24, 1933, in Martin County, to Alva Lorene Cornelius Sisson and Lonnie Hiawhatha Sisson. He married Rosean Beckman on Sept. 24, 1954 in Stanton.

Teresa Lynne Christon

DENTON - Teresa Lynne Christon, 57, died Jan. 2, 2021 in Denton. She was born Apr. 5, 1963, in East St. Lewis, IL to Shirley Ann Henson. She grew up in Stanton, but lived an adventurous life and called many places home including Georgia and most recently Stephenville.

Billie Jean Lively

EL PASO - Billie Jean Lively died peacefully in her sleep on Nov. 24, 2020 at home. Billie Jean Lively, born Billie Jean Vandever, was born to Charles and Gertrude Vandever on Sept. 26, 1930, in Monroe, Louisiana.
