MIDLAND - Anthony W. (Pacheco) Losoya, 57, died Feb. 6, 2021 in Midland. He was born in Pueblo, Colorado on Feb. 15, 1963. He later moved to Stanton with his family. He was a loving friendly person who had a way of talking with everyone.

BIG SPRING - Delfina Cortez, 76 of Leander and formerly of Big Spring, died Jan. 31, 2021. Rosary was Feb. 4, at and funeral services were Feb. 5, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment followed at Mount Olive Memorial Park. She was born June 5, 1944, in Lamesa.

Violet Thomas

BIG SPRING - Violet Thomas, 90, died Jan. 25, 2021. Graveside services were at Peace Chapel in Trinity Memorial Park on Jan. 28, with Herb McPherson officiating. She was born on Feb. 14, 1930, in Stanton. She was a homemaker but also worked as an LVN at the Big Spring State Hospital.

Lt. Col. Van Ross

TEMPLE - Lt. Col. Van Ross USAF (Ret.), age 91 of Temple, formerly of San Angelo, died Jan. 23, 2021, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple. Due to CoVID restrictions, his family has decided on a private interment with a public memorial service to be held at a later date.

Delgado Jr., 45, died Jan. 23, 2021 at Cullman County Regional, AL. He was born June 17, 1975, in Big Lake, to Victor and Elena Delgado. He was a 1994 graduate of Stanton High School.
