Five Bearkats headed to state track and field meet in two weeks

LEVELLAND - The Garden City Bearkats and Lady Kats competed in the Region I-1A Track Meet this past weekend at South Plains College in Levelland.

Stanton stays scrappy in loss to Reagan County

STANTON – The Stanton Buffaloes varsity baseball team fought back after falling down by four runs in the first inning, but the comeback fell just short in a 13-12 loss to Reagan County last Friday. Stanton tallied ten runs in the failed comeback.

Gonzales wins regionals, poised for gold at state

LEVELLAND - The Grady Wildcats and Lady Cats competed in the Region I-1A Track Meet this past weekend at South Plains College in Levelland. Sydney Gonzales dominated the pole vault competition with a vault of 10-09, earning the gold medal and qualifying for State.

Lady Kat seniors recognized for academic excellence, again

GARDEN CITY - Once again, the senior trio of Jasmine Jackson, Bailey Dehlinger, and Elissa Colunga have been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements while participating in UIL athletics.

Martin County 4-H competed in the District 6 Livestock Judging Contest last week in Lubbock. The Intermediate Division participants included: Adalynn Peugh, Brayden Bryan, Madelyn Eskew, Nathan Alberts, Tripp Wells and Wesley Phillips.
