Stanton takes game over Crane in a blow-out victory, 22-1

CRANE - Stanton’s High School Varsity softball team easily did away with Crane 22-1 last Friday. R. Murry toed the rubber for Stanton and lasted three innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out two and walking zero. C Cavazos started the game for Crane.

Booth collects five hits as Stanton Buffaloes Varsity defeats Crane

CRANE - Adam Booth had a busy day at the plate on Friday, smacking five hits in Stanton’s 21-9 victory over Crane. Booth singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, singled in the sixth, and singled in the seventh.

GARDEN CITY - The Grady Wildcats and Garden City Bearkats were in Garden City last Thursday competing in the Area Track and Field Championships. The top four finishers from both the District 7 and District 8 championships combined to compete in Area.

LUBBOCK - The Garden City varsity girl’s golf team traveled to Lubbock this week to compete in the Class A Region I Golf Tournament at Reese Golf Center. After two days of brilliant golf, the Lady Kats are Region 1 Golf Champions.

The Bearkat golf team

The Bearkat golf team traveled to Lubbock to compete in the Regional Golf Tournament. The boys were in 12th place after day one, but rallied in day two finishing in 6th place.
