ODESSA - Grady junior Braden Welch placed second at the District Golf Meet on Mar. 29 and Apr. 5. Welch shot a 79 on both days for a two day total of 158. Nick Lara of Garden City finished first with a two day total of 150 (80, 70).

WHITEFACE - The Grady High School Track teams competed in the Antelope/Eagle Relays in Whiteface this past Friday. All three teams had a great showing. The Junior Varsity boys finished 3rd as a team. The Varsity boys team finished 4th . The Varsity girls finished 2nd overall as a team.

WINK - Grady High School netters brought home a bunch of hardward from the Wink Tennis Tournament last Thursday. Schools attending the tournament were Alpine, Crane, Fort Davis, Grady, Reagan County junior varsity, Van Horn, and Wink junior varsity.

ABILENE - Stanton senior Ashton Smith competed at the Division 2 boys' state powerlifting meet in Abilene on Mar. 27. He ended up 5th in the 242 lb. class with a total lift of 1585. He accomplished this by only getting 3 lifts on the day, his opener on squat and bench then his last lift on deadlift.

WELLMAN - The Grady Junior High track teams competed in the Wellman track meet. The Grady boys team finished 4th overall while the Grady girls team finished 5th. Girls 100m Dash 100m Dash Raegan Dennis 3rd - 14.34, Alyssa Oviedo 6th - 14.

STANTON - Stanton ISD is pleased to announce Elementary Field Day will take place on Apr. 1 at the Stanton High School track. The meet is expected to start as close to 8:45 am as possible. Parents will be seated in the stands and will not be allowed on the track or turf at any time.
